PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL) BERBASIS TEORI VAN HIELE TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PADA MATERI BANGUN RUANG SISWA KELAS V SDN SANRANGAN

This study aims to describe the(1)application of the Problem Based Learning learning model based on Van Hiele's theory on the material of space structures in class V SDN Sanrangan,(2) to find out the picture of student learning outcomes using the Problem Based Learning model based on Van Hiele's theory, and(3) to find out the effect of the Problem Based Learning learning model based on Van Hiele's theory on student learning outcomes on the material of space structures. This research is included in the category of experimental research with a quantitative approach and uses a pre-experimental design (nondesigns) research design with a one sample pretest-posttest design type. The population of this study was all class V students of SDN Sanrangan, with a sample of 15 students selected through a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected using observation sheets to determine the implementation of the learning model by teachers and students, learning outcome tests, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted descriptively and inferentially. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that the percentage of the implementation of the learning process using the Problem Based Learning model for teachers was in the good category at the first meeting and the very good category at the second meeting. Meanwhile, for students, the percentage of the implementation of the learning process at both meetings was included in the very good category. Inferential analysis using the paired sample t-test showed a significant difference between the pretest and posttest results. This indicates a difference in student learning outcomes after being given treatment. Thus, it can be concluded that: (1) the learning process using the Problem Based Learning model based on Van Hiele's theory went very well, (2) the test results showed a significant difference in student learning outcomes, and (3) there was a of the application of the Problem Based Learning model based on Van Hiele's theory on student learning outcomes in the material on spatial figures of class V SDN Sanrangan.Downloads
