Abstract

This research aims to describe the process of developing paper-based threedimensional miniature media for students' self-understanding of disaster mitigation in class 6 at SDN Sisik Barat that is valid and practical. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model which consists of analyze, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The data collection techniques used were medical and material expert validation questionnaires as well as teacher and student response questionnaires. The results of this research show that three-dimensional miniature media got a percentage of 80% with valid criteria from media experts, a percentage of 84% with valid criteria from material experts, a percentage of 96% with very practical criteria from teacher responses, a percentage of 88.5% with practical criteria from student responses for stages 1 and 2, a percentage of 89.1% with practical criteria from student responses for stage 3 and a percentage of 95.8% with the complete category from the results of students' self-understanding tests which were calculated using classical learning completeness. Based on the research results, it is clear that paper-based threedimensional miniature media for students' self-understanding of disaster mitigation in class 6 at SDN Sisik Barat is feasible from a valid and practical aspect to be used as a learning medium.
