PENINGKATAN KOMPETENSI PEGAWAI DALAM PELAYANAN ADMINISTRASI KEPENDUDUKAN (STUDI PADA KANTOR CAMAT PAMOTAN KABUPATEN REMBANG)

The aims of this research are to (1) describe the practice of population administration services at the Pamotan Subdistrict Office; (2) Analyzing internal and external factors that influence employee competency in population administration services at the Pamotan District Head Office; (3) Develop a strategy to increase employee competency in population administration services at the Pamotan District Head Office. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews and in-depth interviews with internal informants (Pamotan Subdistrict Head, Head of the Government and Public Services Section, and employees who provide population administration services) and external informants (components of the community receiving population administration services). Strategy analysis based on the SWOT matrix. The results of this research are as follows: (1) the practice of population administration services, especially Family Cards at the Pamotan District Head Office, has been running well in accordance with applicable regulations; (2) There is an IFAS internal factor of 1.500 and an EFAS external factor of 0.214, so it is in QUADRANT 1, which is an Aggressive strategy, which is in a favorable condition and is able to optimize its strengths and take advantage of existing opportunities. Meanwhile, the results of the IE matrix analysis obtained a value of 2.63 on the X axis and 1.64 on the Y axis so that it is in cell VIII, which is a strategy that is concentrated on service; (3) Based on the results of IFAS and EFAS as well as the IE matrix, policy strategies that can be implemented include detailing SOP policies, utilizing social media for outreach, adding facilities and human resources for outreach, developing soft skills training, and creating hotline contacts for communication with the community.Downloads
