PENERAPAN MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL) BERBANTUAN MEDIA SMART BOX UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPAS SISWA KELAS IV SDN BANJAREJO MADIUN TAHUN AJARAN 2023/2024

The use of media in education is not new. Media is a means to equip students with material in detail so as to enable learning to run effectively and efficiently. This research was conducted at SDN Banjarejo Madiun City to improve students' IPAS learning outcomes. This research was conducted from May to June 2024 on Class IV students (28 students) of SDN Banjarejo Madiun City and by using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) method assisted by Smart Box media. This research is a class action research (PTK). This research was carried out using the Kemmis and Mc-Taggart model which includes the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection, as well as the use of student data sources and class teachers. Researchers encouraged students to actively learn and discover something during the learning process. The results showed that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model with the help of Smart Box media can improve students' IPAS learning outcomes from the pre-cycle stage 35.7%, cycle I stage to 60% and 100% in cycle II. The conclusion of this study is that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model is very effective in improving student learning outcomes, especially grade IV students at SDN Banjarejo Madiun City. The purpose of this study can be an effective alternative to improve the quality of learning and student performance. The use of appropriate models and media can help teachers improve the quality of learning and student learning outcomes and achieve better results in the learning process.Downloads
