PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN GADGET TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN INTERAKSI SOSIAL SISWA KELAS III DI SDN SARAKAN III

In general, children are very happy to use gadget devices in their daily activities, so some children tend to feel engrossed in enjoying games or social media from their gadgets rather than playing with their peers in the home environtment. If children’s behavior in using gadget sis left too long, new social attitudes will form in these children. This study using a qualitative approach, with descriptive research methods. Data collection techinques in this study used observation, interview, and documentation technique. The techniques used include data reduction, data presentation, and conclucion drawing. The result of the study that students who often use gadgets tend to experience a decrease in the ability to interact directly, can inhibit social skills such as empathy, cooperation, and conflict resolution. Students rarely interact with their parents and friends, prefer to be alone, lazy to do activities including participating in in school activities. The use of gadgets can also affect language speech in social interaction, such as using bad language. So that this makes the low social interaction skills possessed in children.Downloads
