Abstract

Civics is a subject that aims to form good citizens. However, students assume that civics is a difficult and uninteresting subject. Civics learning is usually centered on the teacher so that students feel bored and causes low student learning activity. This causes student learning outcomes to be less than optimal. This also happened to class 2 students of SDN 1 Tleter. Therefore, classroom action research was conducted at the school with class 2 students as the research subjects. This research was conducted in two cycles. Data collection used interview, observation, test, and document methods. The purpose of this study was to improve the activity and learning outcomes of class 2 students in learning Civics on the main material of democracy through the STAD learning model assisted by quizizz. The results of this study indicate that the learning outcomes of class II students have increased through the application of the STAD learning model assisted by Quizizz.
