Abstract

Entrepreneurship education in high schools is becoming increasingly important in equipping students with skills relevant to the dynamic world of work. This research aims to explore the role of teachers in fostering an entrepreneurial spirit in students at SMAN 2 Krakatau Steel Cilegon. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach by collecting data through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation analysis. The research results show that teachers play a strategic role in integrating entrepreneurship concepts into the curriculum and providing practical experience to students. Despite facing challenges such as limited time and facility support, teachers still strive to create a learning environment that is conducive to student entrepreneurial development. The results of the questionnaire analysis also show that students give a positive assessment of the influence of entrepreneurship learning by teachers. In conclusion, this research highlights the important role of teachers in cultivating an entrepreneurial spirit in students, which will have a positive impact on their preparation for the world of work in the future.
