Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of implementing collaborative clinical supervision in enhancing teachers' skills at TK Kartika XIV-15 Japakeh, Aceh Besar District. The research focuses on improving teachers' abilities in lesson opening and closing, reinforcement, and instructional variation. The study involves three teachers using the school action research approach based on Kemmis and Taggart's model, which includes planning, implementation, observation, and reflection cycles. Initial findings indicate that teachers' skills in these areas were categorized as sufficient. With clinical supervision intervention in Cycle II, there was a significant improvement in lesson opening and closing, reinforcement, and instructional variation skills. The skills in lesson opening and closing improved to a good level with percentages of 83.79%, reinforcement skills reached 81.67%, and instructional variation skills achieved 84.17%. These findings demonstrate that collaborative clinical supervision effectively enhances teachers' pedagogical competence. The implication underscores the importance of broader implementation and development of clinical supervision activities in schools, aiming to improve educational quality through enhanced teaching skills.
