Abstract

This research aims to examine the execution of the Pancasila Learner Profile Strengthening Project (P5) within the independent curriculum's SBDP dance subjects at elementary schools. It explores P5 learning focused on the theme of unity within school contexts and identifies the factors that support or hinder the implementation of P5 learning in dance arts within elementary schools implementing the Merdeka Curriculum education program. The descriptive qualitative research method was employed, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. This study finding’s demonstrate that implementing project-based learning to enhance the profile of Pancasila students in the independent curriculum's dance subject within the Arts, Culture, and Physical Education (SBDP) course in fourth grade at SD Negeri 01 Jatilawang offers significant benefits. It helps students develop artistic thinking, work, experience, creativity, and reflective skills. Fourth-grade teachers utilize this approach as a resource and facilitate learning projects to bolster the Pancasila student profile in their students at school. Efforts to learn the project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students in dance with the theme of bhineka tunggal ika make a significant contribution to the understanding of Pancasila values in students. The implication is that project learning to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students at SD Negeri 01 Jatilawang has succeeded in improving the quality of dance learning in the independent curriculum by strengthening dance competencies and developing the attitude of the spirit of nationalism in students.
