Abstract

This article is research that explains the development of the Genially-based educational game Snakes and Ladders. Technological advances require adjustments to learning methods to make them more interesting and effective. At SDIT Al-Akbar Karanggayam, Blitar Regency, class IV students have difficulty learning PPKn material about Pancasila values ​​because conventional methods lack variety. To overcome this, the research developed an educational game snakes and ladders based on Genially. Genially is a digital platform that has many games, one of which is the snakes and ladders game. The snakes and ladders game developed by researchers has interesting features so that it can attract students' attention in learning. The aim of developing the Genially-based snakes and ladders game is to increase students' level of interest in learning so that they are more active in the learning process taking place in the classroom. This game is designed to increase student interest and involvement, presenting material creatively and interactively. The strategy used in the research is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. Validation results show 90% validity. This learning media is expected to increase students' understanding and interest in learning according to the Merdeka Belajar curriculum.
