Abstract

For students, Bahasa subject are often considered boring because the learning activities are less varied. Therefore, it also influences the learning outcomes achieved. This research aims to find out whether the use of Spin the Wheel learning media can improve learning outcomes in Bahasa poetry subjects in  IVth grade. The method used in this research is the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method with 2 cycles. The subjects of this research were IVth C at SDN 01 Taman Kota Madiun with a total of 20 students. This research uses data collection techniques through observation, documentation and tests. By referring to Bahasa subject KKM, 70, the results obtained from the actions before the cycle were 30% of students who completed the post test. In cycle 1, the results obtained were 70% of students who completed the post test. In cycle 2, the results obtained were 85% of students who completed the post test. So it can be concluded that by using Spin the Wheel media can improve Bahasa subject outcomes for grade IV elementary school poetry material.
