PENGGUNAAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS APLIKASI CANVA DALAM MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KREATIF PADA SISWA KELAS V DI SD NEGERI 2 KALAPANUNGGAL

This research is motivated by the lack of use of learning media which causes students to be less active in learning as evidenced by the lack of creative thinking skills in natural science learning materials. The purpose of this study was to find out how the use of canva application-based learning media in conventional classes with classes that were given treatment using canva application-based learning media to improve the creative thinking skills of fifth grade elementary school students. This research is a quasi-experimental research with a nonequivalent control group design. The sample used in this study were fifth grade students at SD Negeri 2 Kalapanunggal, Sukabumi Regency, which consisted of 2 classes, including class VA as a control class using conventional learning and class 5 B as an experimental class with a total of 31 students. Data collection techniques in this study used tests and observations. The tests referred to as Pretest and Posttest were given to each research sample class with the same questions. After the test results were obtained, the researcher analyzed the data and showed that the Posttest average in the experimental class was higher than that in the control class. In addition, data analysis was carried out using the Independent Samples Test with the help of the SPSS 26 application, the results obtained were Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05. An Effect Size Test was also carried out with a result value of 1.80 with an interpretation in the strong category. So it can be concluded that the use and results of students' creative thinking skills after using the Canva application-based learning media are higher than students who use conventional learning.Downloads
