Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum provides a new atmosphere in the world of education. Merdeka Curriculum is a curriculum with intra-curricular learning whose content will be optimized so that students have time to explore concepts and strengthen competencies. This curriculum is made in accordance with the times, so that it can give students full freedom to develop their abilities according to their talents and interests. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with library research method. The principle in the independent curriculum is the emergence of the concept or principle of the Pancasila student profile. The implementation of an independent curriculum for students and teachers in Indonesia is related to the characteristics used in this curriculum, namely students and teachers jointly carry out project-based learning to develop soft skills and character according to the Pancasila learner profile.
