INTEGRASI PjBL DENGAN PENDEKATAN STEAM PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPAS DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Education is a basic and planned effort to create a learning atmosphere and learning process so that students actively develop their potential. The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of implementing learning by integrating Project Based Learning with the STEAM approach, the obstacles and efforts made in science and technology subjects in Class IV elementary school students. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The research subjects were teachers and students of class IV of the Pakem Kalasan State Elementary School, Sleman Regency. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. Based on the research results, it can be seen that 1) learning that applies the integration of the Project Based Learning learning model with the STEAM approach in Class IV science and science subjects at Pakem Kalasan Elementary School, Sleman Regency provides students with a deeper understanding and experience, 2) obstacles in carrying out learning activities which implements the integration of the Project Based Learning learning model with the STEAM approach, namely the teacher's lack of knowledge in implementing innovative learning models in the classroom and the lack of adequate infrastructure, and 3) the efforts made are by holding IHT (In House Training) for teachers to increase competency in implementing innovative learning in the classroom and proposing the provision of infrastructure to the school.Downloads
