UPAYA PENANGGULANGAN ANAK PUTUS SEKOLAH DI KAMPUNG POLAK PENYAYANG DESA MASBAGIK SELATAN

Abstract

This research aims to find out what factors cause children to drop out of school and efforts to overcome school dropout children in Polak Penyayang Village, South Masbagik Village. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. The research subjects are children who have dropped out of school and the research informants are parents of children who have dropped out of school, heads of RTs, hamlets, youth leaders, religious leaders, heads of foundations, the UPTD Education and Culture service in Masbagik sub-district and also guidance and counseling teachers in schools dominated by dropouts. school in Polak Penyayang Village, South Masbagik Village. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observation and documentation. data analysis techniques by reducing data, presenting data, drawing conclusions. Meanwhile, data validity is carried out through credibility and transference. The results of this study show that the factors causing children to drop out of school in Polak Penyayang Village, Masbagik Selatan Village are caused by internal factors (low interest in going to school and marrying young) and external factors include: 1) family factors and 2) the environment. The efforts to deal with children dropping out of school in Polak Compassionate Village, South Masbagik Village, are: 1) efforts from parents, 2) efforts from the surrounding environment and 3) efforts from the department.
