Abstract

The purpose of this research is; 1) to determine the positive and significant effect of learning interest on learning outcomes in Mathematics, 2) to determine the positive and significant effect of seating position on learning outcomes in Mathematics, 3) to determine the positive and significant effect between learning interest and seating position on learning outcomes in Mathematics. The method used is quantitative, ex post facto. The population used was fifth grade elementary school students in Cluster Candra with a total sample of 83 students. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The research instruments used include questionnaires and tests. The sampling technique used is multistage random sampling. The results of this study indicate that; 1) there is a positive and significant influence between learning interest on learning outcomes in Mathematics, 2) there is a positive and significant influence between seating position on learning outcomes in Mathematics, 3) there is a positive and significant influence between learning interest and seating position on learning outcomes in Mathematics. It can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence between learning interest and seating position on learning outcomes in learning Mathematics. There needs to be more interesting learning so that students' interest increases and the teacher manages seating positions properly.
