PERAN UNRWA DALAM MENANGANI KRISIS PENGUNGSI PALESTINA DI GAZA: STUDI KASUS PERBATASAN RAFAH

United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) memainkan peran penting dalam menangani krisis pengungsi Palestina, terutama di Jalur Gaza yang terdampak blokade Israel sejak 2007. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran UNRWA dalam memberikan bantuan kemanusiaan dan layanan dasar, serta mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi dalam menangani pengungsi di perbatasan Rafah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka untuk mengumpulkan dan menganalisis data dari berbagai sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa UNRWA berperan signifikan dalam menyediakan layanan pendidikan, kesehatan, bantuan pangan, serta pembangunan infrastruktur bagi pengungsi Palestina. Namun, keterbatasan sumber daya, blokade, serta tekanan politik internasional menjadi tantangan utama yang menghambat operasional UNRWA. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya dukungan global dalam mengatasi krisis pengungsi Palestina yang berlangsung lama.
