Vol. 1 No. 2 (2025): September 2025
KOLECER Journal Vol. 1 No. 2, September 2025, presents six scholarly articles focusing on development and analytical studies in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, energy systems, and instrumentation. This issue has been designed to enrich the body of applied scientific knowledge through analytical, experimental, and engineering-based design approaches.
The first article discusses the analysis of the strength and Safe Working Load (SWL) of a single crane hook using SolidWorks, with emphasis on stress evaluation and safety factors for lifting components to ensure operational reliability and safety. The second article examines the influence of blade configuration in a simple shredding machine on the quality of shredded PLA and PET, with particular attention to blade design optimisation to enhance plastic material shredding performance. The third article, entitled Development of Rotary Fixture on Laser Engraver Machine, presents the design and development process of a rotary fixture intended to improve flexibility and precision in laser engraving of cylindrical workpieces. Subsequently, the fourth article reviews the analysis of heat transfer and energy conversion in split-type air conditioning systems, evaluating thermal performance and energy efficiency under specific operating conditions. The fifth article addresses the calibration and uncertainty analysis of DHT22 temperature sensor measurements using a calibrated digital thermometer as a reference instrument, aiming to improve measurement accuracy and reliability for experimental and industrial applications. The final article investigates the effect of spindle rotational speed variation on the surface roughness of Aluminium 6061 in milling processes, with emphasis on the relationship between machining parameters and the resulting surface quality.
KOLECER Journal Vol. 1 No. 2, September 2025, is expected to serve as a valuable scientific reference for students, researchers, and engineering practitioners, and to advance knowledge and technology in applied engineering.
