PEER REVIEW PROCESS

Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts to Wistara will be firstly read by the editorial staff ensuring that the submission guidelines have been met. If a submission passes through the first review process, it will be assigned to reviewers while for those which do not pass the process will be returned to the authors. Each article is reviewed by at least one independent reviewer through a blind review process. Reviewers would evaluate the manuscript substances, including the research originality, novelty, methodology, and contribution to science. Reviewers are responsible to make a decision on the article status based on the results of the evaluation. If reviewers do not agree each other, the editors would ask the third reviewer’s opinion. The results of the review would be sent by the editors back to the author with a note (one of the following): accepted without revision, accepted after major revision, accepted after minor revision, rejected.
