UPAYA GURU DALAM MENGATASI KESULITAN MEMBACA PERMULAAN PADA SISWA KELAS II SD (STUDI KASUS DI SDN INPRES DESA PALAMA)

Abstract

This research is motivated by problems in learning to read beginning which are obstacles among Class II students. As for the obstacles or difficulties experienced by students in beginning reading, namely: (1), recognizing letters, f (2) reading meaningful words, (3) reading words that have no meaning, (4) fluency in reading aloud and reading comprehension, (5 ) listening (listening comprehension). This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. The research subjects were class II students at SDN Inpres Palama. Data was collected by observing the process of teaching and learning activities, interviews with class II teachers and documentation. The teacher is said to be able to overcome any difficulties if the teacher is able to overcome the factors that cause these obstacles. The influencing factors are: (1) Internal Factors (2) External Factors. Difficulties in internal factors are difficulties that originate within students, basic abilities of students and how students see themselves and provide existing actions in learning. Whereas difficulties in external factors are difficulties that are outside the student's self that affect the environment and peers or teachers and policies that are included in the facilities and infrastructure as well as the existing curriculum at school. The teacher's efforts to overcome difficulties are an attempt to find a way out when faced with difficult conditions to find solutions or answers to the problems faced by students. The ability to overcome difficulties in this study is the teacher's ability to overcome students' difficulties in beginning reading in class II SDN Inpres Palama, Donggo District, Bima Regency. The teacher's efforts to overcome the initial reading difficulties experienced by class II students at SDN Inpres Palama include: (1), the teacher uses effective and interesting learning media, (2) the teacher uses the SAS method, (3) provides special programs or provides remedial for students who have reading difficulties.
