Abstract

This study aims to develop the media used in learning Indonesian for class IV fictional story material in the form of pop up book media. The research method used is development (R&D) with the Borg and Gall development model which consists of 10 stages, namely (1) Potential and problems, (2) Data collection, (3) Product design, (4) Design validation, (5) Revision design, (6) product trial, (7) product revision, (8) trial use, (9) product revision and (10) mass production. The data collected is related to the effectiveness of learning media. The product trial subjects in the first stage were 6 grade IV students of SDN Mlancu 2. Meanwhile, the subjects in the second stage were 20 students from grade IV SDN Mlancu 2. The instrument used is student learning outcomes. From the test results, the effectiveness score of the pop up book media on the fictional story material The Legend of Dewi Kilisuci from students is 80% with effective details. From the results of this study it can be concluded that the pop up book learning media material for fictional stories The Legend of Dewi Kilisuci is effective and can be used in learning Indonesian in fictional story material.
