PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN KOMIK DIGITAL BERBASIS PEDEKATAN KONTEKSTUAL PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPA KELAS 3 DI SDIT AL AMANAH DEPOK

The research being conducted focuses on the development of digital comic learning media based on a contextual approach for science learning in class III elementary schools, especially in the subject of weather changes. This study uses the RnD development method with the ADDIE model. The ADDIE model consists of five stages, namely, Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The results of this study indicate that the use of media helps increase students' interest in learning and understanding of the science learning process. The product validation test was carried out through the assessment of media experts and material experts, with the results obtaining percentages of 86% and 90%. With that the media can be tested according to the advice of experts. The feasibility of this contextually-based digital comic media has received a very good response to trials on teacher responses and student responses. This is evidenced by the results of the teacher response questionnaire with a percentage of 90%, student questionnaire results with a percentage of 88.5% for small group trials and 85.17% for large group trials. The results of the Paired Sample T Test on the pretest results before using the learning media treatment obtained an average percentage of 43.18% and after using digital comic media based on a contextual approach the post-test results obtained an average percentage of 86.36%. This indicates that digital comic media based on a contextual approach is effective for improving science learning outcomes for third grade elementary school students.Downloads
