Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of the Power Point Assisted Think Pair Share Learning Model on Science Learning Outcomes at SDN 1 Lubuk Makmur. This research is a type of quantitative research using the experimental method of the True Experimental type with the Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The variables of this study consisted of the independent variable (X), namely the Power Point Assisted Think Pair Share Learning Model and variable (Y) Science Learning Outcomes. The population in this study were all fifth grade students at SDN 1 Lubuk Makmur, totaling 31 people. The sample of this research was students of class VA and VB, which consisted of 31 students. Data collection techniques in this study were tests and observations. Data analysis techniques used the Independent Sample T-Test and the N-gain Score test which were carried out after the normality and homogeneity tests were known. The treatment experimental class with the Power Point Assisted Think Pair Share Learning Model obtained an average of 0.7581 and the control class obtained an average of 0.3417 with the hypothesis testing criteria namely Ha is accepted if t_count> t_(table) with the acquisition of t_count 6.856 and t_(table) = 0.3550 then Ha is accepted. And based on observational data obtained an average value of 92.3%, it can be categorized as strongly agree. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded: There is a significant influence between the power point assisted think pair share learning model on science learning outcomes at SDN 1 Lubuk Makmur.
