Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve the ability to summarize students' reading information on Indonesian language content in grade III elementary schools with the Problem-Based Learning model assisted by audio-visual media. The research conducted was Classroom Action Research (PTK) in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of two meetings. The stages of each cycle are planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. Each meeting is carried out with formative tests to determine the progress of students. In cycle, I, students who completed after carrying out formative tests were 70%. In cycle II, students who complete after carrying out formative tests are 90%.
