Abstract

This research is a class research with the aim of improving the learning outcomes of the Indonesian language material for finding main ideas through the project based learning method assisted by visual media. The application of the project based learning method can stimulate student activity in learning and is able to improve student learning outcomes. The population and sample in the study were all fourth grade students at SDN 3 Kedungombo totaling 28 students with details of 15 female students and 13 male students. In collecting data using student worksheets and questions. The results of the research conducted showed an increase in student learning outcomes, this is evidenced by the first cycle getting an average score of 59.3 and 36% classical completeness and for the second cycle getting an average score of 78.6 and 79% classical completeness resulting in an increase from cycle I to cycle II of 19.3 or 43%. The conclusion of this study is that using the project based learning method assisted by visual media can improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SDN 3 Kedungombo for the Indonesian language subject in finding basic ideas for the 2022/2023 school year
