PERAN GURU DALAM MEMBANGUN PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER PESERTA DIDIK KELAS VI DI MIS AZRINA PADA ERA DIGITAL

This study aims to determine the teacher's role in building character education for class VI MIS AZRINA Medan students in the digital era. This type of research is qualitative research with data collection techniques in the form of interviews. This research was conducted at MIS AZRINA Medan with the research subject being the homeroom teacher of class VI.A. Data analysis techniques in this study used three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and decision making which were then verified. In this study, there are 3 characters instilled by the teacher in students, namely religious character, discipline character and honesty character. In instilling religious character, MIS AZRINA Medan has a program for obligatory prayers in congregation and reciting the Koran before starting learning. In instilling the character of discipline, students are not allowed to bring cellphones to school unless they are allowed by the teacher to use them in the learning process. And to instill the character of honesty, students do not use cellphones other than with the teacher's permission. In instilling this character, the teacher has several roles, namely as an example to students in character, guiding students in language and acting, the teacher as a person who evaluates the character of students, and establishing good cooperation with parents of students so that students have good character. well in the digital age.Downloads
