Abstract

The Indonesian nation has extraordinary wealth in terms of culture, ethnicity, language, customs, ethnicity and religion. a vast area stretching out consisting of thousands of islands, of which two thirds of the territory is water and one third is land, of course with abundant natural wealth. Including a society like in Indonesia which is known as a "plural" society or a "multicultural" society. This is what underlies the urgency of multicultural education in all levels of society, including in the school environment. The research method that the author uses is a descriptive qualitative method with actual data and facts accompanied by relevant multicultural education theories, based on approaches and characteristics according to experts with the aim of analyzing the Implementation of Multicultural Islamic Education in SDN Kutaampel II, Batujaya District, Karawang Regency regarding the implementation multicultural education, supporting and inhibiting factors as well as analysis of problems in implementing multicultural education at SDN Kutaampel II Batujaya District, Karawang.
