VALIDITAS MEDIA VIDEO ANIMASI TERINTEGRASI SOCIO-SCIENTIFIC ISSUES (SSI) PADA MATERI PENCEMARAN LINGKUNGAN

This research aims to assess the validity of integrated Socio-Scientific Issues animated video media about environmental pollution as a learning tool. The approach used is Research and Development (R&D) using a 4D model condensed into 3D, including define, design, and development. The methodology for data collecting employs a validation sheet for media experts and another for material experts, whilst the analysis of data utilizes Aiken's V validity index. The creation of animated video content occurs in many phases, including the definition phase, design phase, and production phase. The defining phase encompasses needs assessment, learner evaluation, task and resource examination, and conceptual analysis. The design phase includes material readiness, medium choice, storyboard development, and the production of research tools. The development phase is executed via the endorsement of media specialists and content authorities. The findings of the research indicate that the validity of stage I yielded an average Aiken's V value of 0.908, which subsequently rose to 1.000 in validation stage II, categorizing it as very high. Subsequently, material validation was performed, yielding an average Aiken's V value of 0.944 in stage I, which rose to 0.972 in stage II, indicating a very high classification. According to the validation findings, the integrated Socio-Scientific Issues (SSI) animated movie about environmental pollution has been deemed to possess very high validity and is suitable for educational purposes.
