PENGARUH PROJECT BASED LEARNING BERBANTUAN VIDEO EDUKASI KEBENCANAAN TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPAS KELAS V

Abstract

This study to determine the effect of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by disaster education videos on the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students at SDN Kedaleman IV in IPAS learning on the topic Bumiku Sayang, Bumiku Malang and the subtopic Bumi Berubah. This study employed a quantitative approach with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research sample consisted of 30 fifth-grade students. Data were collected using an essay test of cricital thinking skills based on the indicators of analysis, inference, and strategi and tactic. The data were analyzed using the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, and N-Gain test. The result showed that the average posttest score increased to 86.80. The normality result showed a significance value of 0.508 for the pretest and 0.003 for the posttest. Since one of the data sets was not normally distributed, the hypothesis was tested using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The Wilcoxon test resulted in a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that H₀ was rejected and H_a was accepted. The N-Gain test resulted in an average score of 0.67, categorized as moderate. Therefore, it can be concluded as moderate. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by disaster education videos had a significant effect on the cricital thinking skills of fifth-grade students at SDN Kedaleman IV
