HUBUNGAN BAKAT BERWIRAUSAHA DAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR DENGAN HASIL BELAJAR PADA MATA PELAJARAN TEKNIK PERMESINAN BUBUT SISWA KELAS XI TEKNIK PERMESINAN DI SMK NEGERI 5 MEDAN

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the relationship between entrepreneurial aptitude and learning 

motivation with learning outcomes in the Lathe Machining Engineering subject among Grade XI 

Mechanical Engineering students at SMK Negeri 5 Medan. The study employed a descriptive 

correlational research design with a population of 60 students and a sample of 50 students selected 

using the Krejcie and Morgan sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires to 

measure entrepreneurial aptitude and learning motivation, while learning outcomes were obtained 

from students' achievement test scores in Lathe Machining Engineering. The data were analyzed 

using descriptive statistics, prerequisite tests (normality and linearity), regression analysis, Pearson 

Product-Moment correlation, and partial correlation analysis. The results revealed a positive and 

significant relationship between entrepreneurial aptitude and learning outcomes in Lathe Machining 

Engineering (r = 0.427; t = 3.275 > ttable = 1.677), a positive and significant relationship between 

learning motivation and learning outcomes (r = 0.334; t = 2.455 > ttable = 1.677), and a positive and 

significant simultaneous relationship between entrepreneurial aptitude and learning motivation with 

learning outcomes. These findings indicate that higher levels of entrepreneurial aptitude and learning 

motivation are associated with better learning outcomes in the Lathe Machining Engineering subject. 

Therefore, fostering students' entrepreneurial aptitude and enhancing their learning motivation 

should become important
