PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE JIGSAW TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PKN SISWA KELAS IV SDN 27 SUNGAI SAPIH

This study was motivated by the low civic education (PKn) learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN 27 Sungai Sapih, caused by the dominance of conventional, teacher-centered learning that left students less actively involved. This study aimed to determine the effect of the Jigsaw cooperative learning model on the PKn learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN 27 Sungai Sapih. This research used a quantitative approach with a true experimental design, specifically the pretest-posttest control group design. The population consisted of all fourth-grade students of SDN 27 Sungai Sapih in the 2025/2026 academic year, totaling 46 students, taken through saturated sampling: Class IV.A as the experimental group and Class IV.B as the control group, with 23 students in each class. Data were collected through an objective test consisting of 21 valid multiple-choice items. Descriptive analysis showed that the mean posttest score of the experimental group was 83.57, higher than the control group's 68.26. The Shapiro-Wilk test indicated that the data were normally distributed, and Levene's test indicated homogeneous variances. The Independent Samples t-test showed tcount = 4.527 > ttable = 1.680 with df = 44 and Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 < 0.05, so H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. It is concluded that the Jigsaw cooperative learning model has a significant effect on the PKn learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN 27 Sungai Sapih.
