PENGARUH MODEL DISCOVERY LEARNING BERBANTUAN MEDIA POHON KEBHINEKAAN TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK PADA PENDIDIKAN PANCASILA KELAS III SDN 20 KALUMBUK

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of third-grade students in Pancasila Education at SDN 20 Kalumbuk, Padang City. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of implementing the discovery learning model assisted by the Pohon Kebhinekaan media on students’ learning outcomes in Pancasila Education. This study employed a quantitative approach with a Quasi-Experimental Design, using The Nonequivalent Posttest-Only Control Group Design. The population consisted of all third-grade students at SDN 20 Kalumbuk, Padang City. The samples were Class III B as the experimental class and Class III A as the control class. The sampling technique used was total sampling. Data were collected through a test using multiple-choice objective questions as the research instrument. Hypothesis testing was conducted using the t-test at a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that the average learning outcome score of the experimental class was 80.86, which was higher than that of the control class, which was 64.44. The hypothesis testing results indicated that t_calculated = 3.988 and t_table = 2.042, where t_calculated > t_table. Therefore, H₀ was rejected and H₁ was accepted. It can be concluded that the implementation of the Discovery Learning model assisted by the Pohon Kebhinekaan media had a significant effect on the learning outcomes of third-grade students in Pancasila Education at SDN 20 Kalumbuk, Padang City.
