SURVEI MINAT BELAJAR PENDIDIKAN JASMANI, OLAHRAGA, DAN KESEHATAN (PJOK) SISWA KELAS BAWAH SDN PANDANWANGI 03 KOTA MALANG

Abstract

This study aims to describe the level of learning interest in Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) among lower grade students (grades I, II, and III) at SDN Pandanwangi 03, Malang City. The method employed was quantitative descriptive survey using a validated questionnaire instrument. The research population comprised all grade I–III students at SDN Pandanwangi 03 totaling 187 students, with a sample of 80 students selected using proportional random sampling technique. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics with interest level categorization. Results showed that the PJOK learning interest of lower grade students at SDN Pandanwangi 03 fell into the high category (36.2%), very high (22.0%), moderate (27.6%), low (11.0%), and very low (3.1%). Both internal factors (enjoyment, attraction, and attention) and external factors (teacher, facilities, and environment) contributed to student learning interest. It was concluded that lower grade students at SDN Pandanwangi 03 generally have high PJOK learning interest, thus innovative learning strategies and adequate facilities are needed to maintain and enhance this interest.
