Pengaruh PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TALKING STICK BERBANTUAN MEDIA POP UP BOOK TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PENDIDIKAN PANCASILA

Abstract

This research is based on the less than optimal learning outcomes of students, caused by learning methods that are still predominantly lecture-based and teacher-centered, as well as the characteristics of students who often play around while learning and show a lack of cooperation in groups. This study aims to determine the effect of the talking stick type cooperative learning model assisted by pop-up book media on the learning outcomes of Pancasila Education of sixth-grade students at SD Negeri 14 Koto Nan Tigo. This research uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design of the one-group pretest-posttest type. Because the population was relatively small, the entire population was used as the research sample, consisting of one class of 13 students selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through a multiple-choice test administered before (pretest) and after (posttest) the treatment. Data analysis included descriptive statistics to determine the average and improvement of learning scores, as well as a paired sample t-test to examine the significance of the difference between pretest and posttest scores with the help of SPSS 27. The results showed that the average pretest score of 68.89 increased to 84.44 in the posttest. The t-test produced a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant effect. Thus, the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted and the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected. This study concludes that the talking stick learning model assisted by pop-up book media has a significant positive effect on the Pancasila Education learning outcomes of sixth-grade students at SDN 14 Koto Nan Tigo.
