The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into Islamic Religious Education (PAI) presents intuitive learning efficiency, yet raises philosophical challenges regarding dehumanization and the reduction of spiritual values. This study aims to philosophically examine the construction of AI-based PAI learning by aligning technological algorithms with the three core pillars of Islamic education: tarbiyah (nurturing innate potential), ta’dib (character and moral formation), and ta’lim (knowledge acquisition). Utilizing a qualitative descriptive-analytical method based on library research, this study finds that AI algorithms are highly effective within the domain of ta’lim, but require critical supervision to prevent the degradation of tarbiyah and ta’dib dimensions. The research formulates an epistemological synthesis that AI must be positioned as a wasilah (auxiliary tool), while human educators maintain the primary role as murobbi and mu’addib to preserve the continuity of Islamic scholarly transmission (sanad) and character building
