PENGARUH PENGELOLAAN KELAS BERBASIS JOYFUL LEARNING TERHADAP MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA SD NEGERI 104208 CINTA RAKYAT

Abstract

Student learning motivation at SD Negeri 104208 Cinta Rakyat remains suboptimal, as evidenced by low levels of student activity, participation, attention, and enthusiasm during the learning process. This study aims to determine the influence of Joyful Learning-based classroom management on student learning motivation at SD Negeri 104208 Cinta Rakyat. The study employs a quantitative approach using the Ex Post Facto method. The research population consisted of 64 fifth-grade students, while a sample of 42 students was selected using purposive sampling. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires and observation. The research instrument was validated by experts and tested using Pearson's Product Moment correlation; it was also confirmed reliable based on the Cronbach's Alpha test. Data analysis included descriptive analysis, normality testing, linearity testing, and simple linear regression. The results indicate that Joyful Learning-based classroom management falls into the "good" category with a mean score of 81.79, while student learning motivation falls into the "moderate" category with a mean score of 79.48. The normality test yielded a significance value of 0.077 (>0.05), and the linearity test showed a "Deviation from Linearity" value of 0.325 (>0.05), indicating that the data are normally distributed and possess a linear relationship. Simple linear regression analysis produced the equation Y = 13.719 + 0.804X with a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05). The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.675 indicates that Joyful Learning-based classroom management exerts a 67.5% influence on student learning motivation.
