ANALISIS FILOSOFI NILAI-NILAI PI'IL PESENGGIRI KEHIDUPAN MASYARAKAT LAMPUNG DALAM PERSPEKTIF NILAI-NILAI PANCASILA

Abstract

This study examines the philosophical analysis of the values of Pi'il Pesenggiri in the lives of the Lampung community from the perspective of Pancasila values. Pi'il Pesenggiri is a traditional philosophy of life of the Lampung indigenous community that embodies values of honor, social ethics, moral responsibility, and guidelines for maintaining social relationships and the dignity of the community. The main values of Pi'il Pesenggiri include Nemui Nyimah, Nengah Nyappur, Sakai Sambayan, and Juluk Adek, which reflect attitudes of hospitality, togetherness, mutual cooperation, respect, and social responsibility that are closely related to Pancasila values, particularly the values of humanity, unity, deliberation, and social justice. This study is motivated by the declining understanding of local culture among the younger generation due to the influence of globalization and modernization, highlighting the need for cultural preservation as part of national identity. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the four elements of Pi'il Pesenggiri have strong alignment with the principles of Pancasila: Juluk Adek corresponds to the second principle, Nemui Nyimah to the second and third principles, Nengah Nyappur to the third and fourth principles, and Sakai Sambayan to the third and fifth principles. These findings provide an understanding of the relevance of Pi'il Pesenggiri values in modern community life and serve as a basis for strengthening character education and implementing Pancasila values through the local wisdom of the Lampung community.
