PROFIL KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR DALAM PEMBELAJARAN PANCASILA MENGGUNAKAN MODUL BERBASIS RADEC

This study aims to describe the profile of critical thinking skills of fifth-grade elementary school students in Pancasila Education learning using a RADEC-based (Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, and Create) teaching module. This research used a descriptive quantitative approach. The subjects consisted of 50 fifth-grade students from SDN 11 Lubuk Buaya and SDN 09 Air Pacah, Padang City, in the 2025/2026 academic year. Data were collected using a critical thinking test developed based on six critical thinking indicators, namely interpretation, analysis, evaluation, inference, explanation, and self-regulation, and analyzed descriptively using a percentage formula for each indicator. The results showed that students' overall critical thinking skills after learning with the RADEC-based module, It falls into the [moderate] category, with the [Explanation] indicator achieving the highest percentage and the [Inference] indicator showing the lowest achievement compard to the other indicators. This pattern of achievement suggests that students tend to master the [self-regulation] aspect more easily, while the [Inference] aspect still requires further reinforcement in the learning process.. These findings indicate that the structured stages of the RADEC model contribute to developing students' critical thinking skills in Pancasila Education and provide a basis for further strengthening specific indicators that remain underdeveloped.
