Biology learning requires creative and innovative teaching materials because biology encompasses more than just theory, facts, and principles; it also emphasizes the process of inquiry. Based on interviews with biology teachers at SMA Negeri 8 Padang and student questionnaires, the teaching materials used include PowerPoint presentations, textbooks, and Student Worksheets (SW). The PowerPoint presentations largely focus on material to be explained by the teacher, while the SW only contain general questions that do not stimulate students' analytical thinking in discovering learning concepts. This situation results in suboptimal student engagement in learning, particularly in the human locomotor system. Therefore, it is necessary to develop Student Worksheets (SW) based on a guided inquiry model, aided by comic strips, to help students discover concepts through a more engaging and meaningful inquiry process. The purpose of this study was to produce valid and practical SW based on a guided inquiry model, aided by comic strips, for Phase F of the human locomotor system. This research is a developmental research project using the 4D development model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). This study is limited to the third stage: develop.
