PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR PENDIDIKAN PANCASILA MENGGUNAKAN MODEL DISCOVERY LEARNING SISWA KELAS IV SDN 09 RANAH BATAHAN KABUPATEN PASAMAN BARAT

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of fourth-grade students of SDN 09 Ranah Batahan, West Pasaman Regency, where in the learning process students feel bored, students only receive learning materials delivered by the teacher without daring to express their ideas in the learning process and learning activities are still teacher-centered. This study aims to describe the improvement of student learning outcomes using the Discovery Learning model in fourth-grade students of SDN 09 Ranah Batahan, West Pasaman Regency. The approach used in this study is quantitative and qualitative. The type of research that the researcher conducted is classroom action research. The study was conducted in 2 cycles with a total of 3 meetings. The objects of this study were fourth-grade students of SDN 09 Ranah Batahan. Data collection techniques used were observation, student learning outcome tests and documentation. Assessment instruments used in this study were observation sheets, question sheets and documentation. Data analysis used qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The average percentage value of student learning outcomes in Pancasila Education learning using the Discovery Learning model in the first cycle of the first meeting was obtained an average of 75.83 with a student completion percentage of 50%. In cycle I, meeting II, the average score was 80 with a student completion percentage of 55.56%. Then in cycle II, it increased with an average score of 84.16 with a student completion percentage of 88.88%. So, it can be concluded that the Discovery Learning model can improve student learning outcomes in Pancasila Education learning in grade IV of SDN 09 Ranah Batahan.
