PENGARUH IMPLEMENTASI PEMBELAJARAN MENDALAM TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS V SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

The study was motivated by the persistence of differences in the level of understanding of mathematical concepts among students even though most had achieved the Learning Objective Achievement Criteria (KKTP). This study aimed to examine the effect of the implementation of deep learning on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade elementary school students. This study used a quantitative approach with an ex post facto type and an associative causal design. The participants were 65 fifth grade students from SDN 1 Tanggung, SDN 2 Bendo, and SDN 2 Tanjungsari, Blitar City, selected using a total sampling technique. Data were collected through interview guidelines, a questionnaire measuring the implementation of deep learning, and documentation of mathematics learning outcomes. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistics and simple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 16.0. The results showed that deep learning was implemented well in mathematics instruction. The simple linear regression analysis yielded a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 with a t-value of 6.693 > t-critical 1.669, so that the implementation of deep learning had a positive and significant effect on students' mathematics learning outcomes. The correlation coefficient (R) of 0.645 indicates a strong positive relationship, while the determination coefficient (R²) of 0.416 indicates that the implementation of deep learning explained 41.6% of the variation in students’ mathematics learning outcomes.
