Abstract

This study aims to enhance the science process skills of fifth-grade students at SD 015 CLP Siabu through the implementation of the Discovery Learning model during the 2025/2026 academic year. The study employed the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, conducted over two cycles, with each cycle consisting of two meetings. Data collection techniques included tests, observation, and documentation. Research instruments comprised a science process skills test, a science process skills observation sheet, and observation sheets for teacher and student activities. The results indicate that the implementation of the Discovery Learning model can improve students' science process skills. This is evidenced by the increase in the classical mastery percentage from 31.57% in the pre-action stage to 42% in Cycle I Meeting I, 52% in Cycle I Meeting II, 74% in Cycle II Meeting I, and 84% in Cycle II Meeting II. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Discovery Learning model is effective in enhancing the science process skills of fifth-grade students at SD 015 CLP Siabu.
