KONSEP TAUHID DALAM FILSAFAT PENDIDIKAN ISLAM DAN IMPLIKASINYA TERHADAP TUJUAN PENDIDIKAN

Abstract

The concept of God serves as a fundamental cornerstone in the philosiphy of Islamic edication, underpinning all educational activities. Islamic education is not merely oriented toward the transfer of knowledge; it is also directed at shaping individuals who know, serve, and draw closer to Allah (SWT). From the perspective of Islamic edicational philosophy, the concept of Divinity acts as the primary paradigm influencing the formulation of educational goals, curricula, teaching methods, the role of educators, and educational evaluation. This study aims to analyze the concept of God whitin the philosophy of Islamic education and its implications for the goals of Islamic education. The research employs a library research method with a qualitaive-philosophical approach. Data were gathered from the Quran, Hadith, classical texts, and contemporary literature on the philosophy of Islamic education. Analysis was conducted using content analysis tecniques and a descriptive-analytical approach. The findings indicate that the concept of God in the philosiphy of Islamic education positions Allah as the sourse of existence, knowledge, and values, as well as the ultimate goal of all human activity. The concept of *tawhid* (Divine Oneness) gives rise to a holistic educational paradigm by integrating spiritual, intelectual, moral, social, and emotional dimensions. The implication of this concept for educational goals is the formation of individuals who possess faith, piety, noble character, and knowledge, and who are capable of fulfilling their roles as both servants of Allah and vicegerents (*khalifah*) on earth. Thus, the goal of Islamic education is oriented not only toward worldly success but also toward happiness in the Hereafter through the cultivation of the *insan kamil* (the perfect human being).
