Abstract

Computer graphics learning requires students not only to operate design software but also to generate, vary, develop, and refine visual ideas. A preliminary study at SMK Negeri 3 Kuningan indicated difficulties in generating design ideas and the use of several separate media for materials, assignments, project submission, and feedback. This study aimed to develop a website-based learning medium using Project-Based Learning (PjBL), examine its feasibility, and analyze changes in students’ creative thinking skills. The study employed Research and Development with the ADDIE model and a one-group pretest-posttest design involving 39 students of Class X DKV 2. The website integrated learning materials, design briefs, worksheets, project planning and scheduling, progress monitoring, submission, assessment, feedback, gallery, and learning evaluation. LORI validation reached 85%, while validation of the alignment with PjBL stages and creative thinking indicators reached 82%. The mean score increased from 84.04 to 93.33. The Wilcoxon test produced Z = −4.154 with p < 0.001 and an effect size of 0.70, categorized as large. Class N-Gain was 0.58, categorized as moderate. N-Gain for fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration was 0.62, 0.46, 0.82, and 0.52, respectively. The website was feasible for supporting computer graphics project learning, and its implementation was accompanied by improved creative thinking skills, with the highest gain in originality.
