This study examines the mediating role of Impostor Syndrome in the relationship between Neuroticism and Innovative Work Behavior (IWB) among employees, using a quantitative correlational approach with a mediation model. Data were collected online via convenience sampling from 346 active employees (aged ≥18, with ≥1 year of work experience), using the NEO-FFI, IPP-30, and the IWB scale developed by De Jong and Den Hartog (2010). Mediation analysis was conducted using SPSS 27 and Hayes' PROCESS Macro Model 4, employing bootstrapping with 95% confidence intervals. Results showed that Neuroticism had a significant negative effect on IWB (β = -.13; p = .013) and on Impostor Syndrome (β = -.99; p < .001), while Impostor Syndrome had a significant positive effect on IWB (β = .04; p < .001). Impostor Syndrome was found to partially mediate the relationship between Neuroticism and IWB (indirect effect = -.04; BootCI 95% [-.08, -.01]). However, the direct effect of Neuroticism remained dominant, suggesting that additional variables are needed to more fully explain the underlying mechanism of this relationship
