EFEKTIVITAS LINGKUNGAN BERBAHASA TERHADAP MOTIVASI BELAJAR BAHASA ARAB SANTRI PONDOK PESANTREN DARUNNAJAH

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of bi'ah lughawiyyah in enhancing the motivation of students at Darunnajah Islamic Boarding School to learn Arabic. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, using data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model through data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, while data validity was tested through source and technique triangulation. The results show that the implementation of bi'ah lughawiyyah is carried out through the habit of speaking Arabic, the provision of daily vocabulary, the enforcement of language rules, and supervision by educators. This program helps students become accustomed to using Arabic in daily communication, boosts their self-confidence, and fosters both intrinsic and extrinsic motivation to learn. Thus, bi'ah lughawiyyah serves as an effective supporting factor in enhancing students’ motivation to learn Arabic.
