PENGARUH MEDIA VISUAL BAR MODEL TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA MATERI SOAL CERITA PENJUMLAHAN PECAHAN BERPENYEBUT BERBEDA SISWA KELAS VI SDN 4 PASIRIPIS

This study was motivated by students' difficulTies in solving mathematical word problems involving the addition of fractions with different denominators. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using the Visual Bar Model on the mathematics learning outcomes of sixth-grade students at SDN 4 Pasiripis. This study employed a Pre-Experimental method using a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design with 17 participants. Data were collected through learning achievement tests administered as Pretests and Posttests, then analyzed using a normality test, the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, and the N-Gain test. The results showed that the Mean Pretest score was 70.74, and the Posttest score was 73.68. The Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test yielded an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.468 (> 0.05), indicating that the null hypothesis was accepted. Furthermore, the N-Gain analysis produced an average score of -0.092. It can be concluded that the use of the Visual Bar Model did not have a significant effect on students' mathematics learning outcomes in solving word problems involving fractions, although descriptively there was a slight increase in the average score
