PENGARUH METODE PEMBELAJARAN PICTORIAL RIDDLE BERBASIS MEDIA CANVA TERHADAP MINAT BELAJAR IPAS SISWA KELAS IV UPT SPF SD NEGERI PANNARA

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Pictorial Riddle learning method based on Canva media on the interest in learning science in grade IV students of UPT SPF SD Negeri Pannara. This study uses a quantitative approach with an experimental
research type and a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The study population was all 67 grade IV students of UPT SPF SD Negeri Pannara. The research sample consisted of 34 grade IV B students selected using a purposive sampling technique. The treatment given was the application of the Pictorial Riddle learning method based on Canva media in science learning. Data collection techniques were carried out through learning interest questionnaires, observation, and documentation. Data analysis used descriptive statistics and inferential statistics through normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests with the help of the SPSS program. The results showed that the application of the Pictorial Riddle learning method based on Canva media had a positive effect on students' interest in learning science. Students' interest in learning after being given treatment increased compared to before being given treatment. The use of picture-based puzzles presented through Canva media was able to increase students' attention, interest, participation, and involvement during the learning process. Thus, the Pictorial Riddle learning method based on Canva media is effective as an alternative learning method to increase students' interest in learning science in elementary schools.
