Abstract

This study aimed to describe employees' perceptions of the implementation of digital-based organizational communication at the Education and Culture Office of Padang Pariaman Regency. Digital-based organizational communication plays an important role in supporting information delivery, work coordination, communication responsiveness, and the effectiveness of organizational performance. This research employed a descriptive quantitative approach. The population consisted of 115 employees, with a sample of 89 respondents selected using the Proportional Stratified Random Sampling technique. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire that had met the requirements of validity and reliability. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics by calculating the mean score and respondents' achievement level.
The results indicated that the implementation of digital-based organizational communication at the Education and Culture Office of Padang Pariaman Regency was generally categorized as effective, with an overall mean score of 4.19. Based on the research indicators, information clarity obtained a mean score of 4.16 (effective), communication responsiveness scored 4.06 (effective), work coordination scored 4.24 (very effective), and digital media utilization scored 4.31 (very effective). These findings indicate that digital-based organizational communication has supported effective information dissemination, strengthened work coordination, and optimized the use of digital media in employees' daily activities. Therefore, continuous improvement in information clarity and communication responsiveness is recommended to further enhance organizational communication effectiveness.
