MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MUATAN IPAS MELALUI PENERAPAN MODEL COOPEATIVE LEARNING TIPE TWO STAY TWO STRAY PADA PESERTA DIDIK KELAS V SDN PONDOK BAHAR 02 KOTA TANGERANG

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of Grade VA students in IPAS at SDN Pondok Bahar 02, Tangerang City. Based on the observations, the problem was identified as being caused by the use of teaching methods that lacked variety and were not appropriate for IPAS learning. Therefore, an improvement effort was carried out through the implementation of the Two Stay Two Stray type of Cooperative Learning model to improve students' learning outcomes in IPAS. This study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) based on the Kemmis and Taggart model. The study was conducted over two cycles, with all 32 students of Grade VA at SDN Pondok Bahar 02 serving as the research subjects, consisting of 17 male students and 15 female students. The data were collected through observations, documentation, field notes, and learning outcome evaluation tests. The results showed improvements in teacher and student activities, as well as in students' learning outcomes. In Cycle II, teacher activity increased to 95% from 72.5% in Cycle I, while student activity increased to 93.5% from 70% in Cycle I. Based on the data, in Cycle I, only 46.88% of the students achieved passing learning outcomes. In Cycle II, there was an improvement, with 84.38% of the students obtaining scores of ≥65, while 15.63% obtained scores of <65. It can be concluded that the implementation of the Two Stay Two Stray type of Cooperative Learning model improved the IPAS learning outcomes of Grade VA students at SDN Pondok Bahar 02.
